JR Automation Delivers Mask Line for Hershey in Three Weeks

JR Automation was honored to partner with another customer in the fight against Covid-19. After hearing of our work with General Motors on their mask line, Hershey approached us to build a mask line for them as well. We were able to use the same design, which helped ensure another rapid deployment.

Thanks to a round-the-clock engineering and build effort by the JR Automation and Hershey teams, this line was installed in just three weeks.

The mask line has been operational since June 1, 2020 and can produce up to 45,000 masks per day. Michele Buck, Hershey president and CEO, cited the company’s history of manufacturing to support U.S. communities.
