Together, we are facing a truly unprecedented situation. The global coronavirus pandemic is affecting all our families, our businesses, our communities, and our way of life. During this time, I wanted to reach out and update you on how we’re approaching the situation at JR Automation.
First and foremost, our hearts go out to anyone who's been impacted by the virus, either directly or indirectly. Our thoughts are especially with those who are sick, to whom we extend our heartfelt wishes for a full recovery. We're inspired by the selfless healthcare workers around the world who are on the front lines working tirelessly to care for people in need.
Second, we’re focused on the health and safety of our customers, employees, families and communities. Our global leadership team is now meeting daily to stay informed on the situation and ensure that our revised policies and direction are proactive and proportionate. Employees are being encouraged to work from home when possible. We are following all the recommendations from the CDC to ensure the safety of those employees who cannot work from home. This includes restricting travel to business-critical trips only, limiting in-person meetings to include no more than 10 people, and we have updated our visitor policy to require all visitors to confirm their health, recent travel, and potential exposure to COVID-19 prior to entering our facilities.
